Used to seal between removable fabric dust bags and the metal body of my shop vacuum. Cleaned the outside of the metal case with alcohol, wrapped and pressed self-adhesive foam tape around the top and bottom edges of the case, removed the backing paper and attached/secured both pouches by tightening the straps. I bought this to wrap the area of my dust collection system where bags, both plastic and filters, go. Before that I had small traces of dust. After that I don't find any such traces.
