This is a walnut. It's hard to be too excited. However, this does exactly what is stated. I needed these for a license plate screw cover and they fitted perfectly. The construction is strong and beautiful. They are well done. Note. Volvo puts the license plate screws in the car, not the other way around like most cars. They worked and looked attractive.

I used these to replace metal round nuts on a 2009 Volvo S80 and 2010 Volvo XC90. Both machines were missing some old metal acorn nuts and needed a good replacement. These black ones fit perfectly, they're nylon so rust isn't a problem, they look good and hold the plate in place. I've had them for a few months now and have never lost them.
