I waited a few weeks for this because I expected good quality. In the very first hole I attempted, the drill/tap broke and got stuck in my project, destroying the part. So now I'm back to manual threading and have to wait even longer for a piece of metal to be replaced. Avoid buying this special "tool"

Very good 3 in 1 combination tool The tip of the drill is blunt however. I couldn't drill a single hole in the thin aluminum sheet. It's sad, but this can be fixed by properly sharpening the drill bit on the grinder. Is this a single defect in the instrument or is it the same for all? The concept is great, the quality of the tool is poor hence the 2 star rating.

Pre-drill a hole the size you are going to cut. then tap everything even though it says you don't have to, that will extend the life of the bit DTAP1/4-20 Combination Drill and Tap, 1/4-20NC.
