Best handlebar interface I've tried

I've used both the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 and the Maestro SW and absolutely love the Maestro SW. The actual setup is exactly the same for both, but where it shows up is in the programming of the button functions. The software includes an easy-to-use web application for programming. I flashed the ROM multiple times until I settled on a combination of basic (short press) and advanced (long press) features that I like. That means I'm less likely to take my eyes off the road to change the radio…

Half of the buttons remain on my Crosstrek

I should have known that there could be problems if the Windows setup software for this product shows a different button layout than my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek . The layout was similar, had the same functionality, and the default mapping was displayed correctly. However, after installation, I was able to keep the volume, track selection, and Siri activation on my Pioneer device, but my track list buttons and call answer and call end buttons were unresponsive. I understand that this product is…

Easy to program in the cabin

With a downloadable application from the manufacturer's website, you can program this interface according to your car, your stereo and your preferences. The app is great - it even shows photos of different steering options for your car's make, model and year to help you choose the right one. You can then customize the buttons with drop-down menus to make the device work the way you want it to. Installation will require you to connect specific steering wheel control signal cables required in…

Needs some tweaking but works great

Overall it does exactly what it's supposed to do, the wiring is very easy and once programmed it works great with that part of the programming now once you have windows for a good Game get the drivers and see them on the programming app, you may have to fiddle around to look for the exact location of the buttons, the idata database is a bit shaky, my steering wheel didn't show up during my mobile year so I had to go up to 3 model years to find mine exactly with the right knobs, be aware my car…

Easy for you, great software

Because each car has different steering, each user will have a different experience. Other than that, the lily experience was great. I downloaded their desktop software and it was very easy for me to flash the device with the right software. You plug it in, enter your vehicle type, your stereo system, and a few more details about the vehicle's features. It will then show you a screen with your steering wheel on your car and ask which buttons you want to map to which function on your stereo…

It would be great if it worked

Comes with all the cables needed to work with your car steering wheel stereo. Except it didn't work on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. You will need a Windows PC and Internet Explorer (Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox are not supported) to flash the module with the latest firmware and your desired button settings. It connects to a computer using the included USB cable. After that, connect it to the car and the head unit. Light. I really wish this would work on my Pathfinder. Your tech support…

Everything works perfectly on the 2017 Subaru Outback.

Installed Maestro SW on a 2017 Subaru Outback Premium that did not have a Harmon Kardon radio. I used a Kenwood DMX4707s radio and a pre-built wiring harness from AutoHarnessHouse. The wiring wasn't too complicated, but I made a mistake. I connected the blue "Amp On" wire to the blue wire of the 21-pin AHH harness, which caused the Subaru computer (CAMBUS) "Do Not Start" circuit to fire, allowing the car and the radio didn't turn on didn't work. After I disconnected the Amp-On cable from the…

Easy to install - just check your internet browser Version

I installed this on my 2010 Toyota Prius (non JBL) and it was very easy to program and install - much easier than I initially thought. be. The only problem I had was with the programming. I connected it to my laptop via USB but the website gave me an error message saying my internet browser was not compatible and therefore the device could not be programmed. I was using Chrome, then switched to Internet Explorer and got the same message. I have checked that both my browsers are the latest…
