Haberdashery suitable for car electronics accessories

Incomplete arrived two seat belts that should be there. This is the second time this seller has screwed up shipping. From now on I will contact the manufacturer directly.

DO NOT BUY: Radio Wiring Harnesses

You think after 2 tries Amazon gets it right but no. Both times they sent a Ford wiring harness. Don't worry about the order. Just seek out a false advertising attorney :) Word to the wise

Pros
  • Satisfied for now
Cons
  • Available in white only

missing parts from the "new " box.

Received an open box with missing wires. For the price it's not something I have to reckon with. Buyers should be aware that you may be in the same situation.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are nuances

Will not fit 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited with JBL

Bought all connections made removed old radio and went to hook up but wiring harnesses are all wrong. Maestro advised me to buy T01 instead. I wish this was documented somewhere so I don't waste my money! BEWARE!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Fit for 2017 Prius Prime Plus.

Worked great. If you are buying an aftermarket radio this is all you need plus factory adapters and adapters for a clean install. It is still possible to tweak some factory settings, but not everything works 100% except for the steering wheel controls.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Steering wheel controls may not work

Steering wheel volume control only works sometimes, probably only 50/50 times, same annoying. Other than that, it's a fantastic block.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Not fully plug and play - lots of soldering.

Not entirely plug and play - lots of soldering to connect this harness to the stereo harness as expected but could be easier. The sticking point was the connector, which didn't match my factory wiring harness, requiring a cut in the wiring harness and soldering in the dash. Not many other options, you're stuck with what you have.

Pros
  • Retains steering wheel audio controls and factory amp
Cons
  • Not fancy

Steering wheel controls may not work

Volume control on steering wheel only works sometimes, probably only 50/50 of the time which is annoying is the one I took off my Kenwood stereo to check and redo the wires one by one, still the same. Other than that, it's a fantastic block.

Pros
  • Retains some factory features and shows performance data on touchscreen with some Alpine, JVC, Kenwood and Pioneer receivers
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as expected, quick installation.

I used this in a 2014 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. At the same time I replaced the head unit with a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX. Installation was pretty easy, but you'll need to make all the wired connections (although that's expected). The kit comes with an adapter to connect to a USB port, although it is not shown in the photo. Incidentally, the adapter for the antenna is not included in the scope of delivery and must therefore be purchased separately.

Pros
  • Connect a new car radio and keep the steering wheel controls and factory amplifier on select Toyota vehicles.
Cons
  • No

Now that all is said and done I love using the idatalink maestro RR despite the complexity of the installation, Set up programming and pairing . That being said, this wiring harness is a mess and largely incompatible with non-JBL 2013-2014 Rav4s and possibly some 2015 models as well. Before I go into what has been explicitly and intentionally left out, it is important to know - for all vehicles - that this is not a full interface. None of the vehicles are equipped with: GPS antenna, radioโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hook up a new car radio and keep the steering wheel controls and factory amp in some Toyota vehicles
Cons
  • Out of fashion
