This is a decent hole saw

works. It's not the world's fastest brick hole saw, but it's a decent price and quality. Cuts through drywall very easily and fairly cleanly. If you can't get a lemon, it should hold up quite well with proper care. Run it slowly and use plenty of water to cool it down and remove dust. Set the gazebo in correctly. Never use impact drilling mode.

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • vanish

Doesn't cut like butter, but we'll poke them in too.

Purchased to install Lemonbest LED recessed lights on the patio. Doesn't cut like butter, but we also drill them into the ceiling, which isn't as easy as drilling into a wall or floor. Two metal latches came loose when trying to use the impact drill function, but I think you should only use the drill mode. Perfect for our application as we have over 30 holes to drill (I ordered two).

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Available in white only

Ideal for drilling holes in Hardie fairings

After trying (and failing) to drill a single hole in Hardie fairings with a bi-metal hole saw for 30 minutes and a drill motor due to overheating broke I decided to order a carbide tipped hole saw to see if it worked better. With this hole saw, I was able to drill all 8 holes I needed in less than 10 seconds with no noticeable bit wear. If you want to go through Hardie this hole saw is fantastic and I want to take back the time I wasted on useless bi-metal bits the other day.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Unsafe
