Magellan EXplorist 350H Handheld GPS Review

Went hunting in a new location last year and felt lost all weekend. I bought this for my son. And next year we will be able to go deeper into the forest without getting lost. andy

After receiving the product I tried to register this product and found that Magellan no longer supports this model so no registration, no updates, no free digital globe, yet , so far I can say without guarantee.

Small, durable, picks up signal around the house, buttons respond well, screen looks nice. great product. I have several GPS navigators (Etrex, Triton 400, Garmin Oregon) and this is the best. I hunt, hide, wander, etc.

This little portable GPS is great. You can mark hundreds of points on it, it's illuminated at night, and this is one of the most accurate devices I've used. You can use it for hunting, hiking, fishing, and to get to the places you want, it will take you there! 110% recommend

This GPS was exactly what I was looking for for hunting. The screen size seemed small at first, but in use it was more than enough to see what I needed. Magellan's VantagePoint software makes it easy to download satellite imagery to your device. I look forward to the release of WMA maps for the southern states as they have not yet been developed. This is the ideal GPS for the hunter or hiker. The learning curve is minimal and the features meet and exceed my expectations. Many of the other GPS models that my friends and I have used include features that add no real value but make the tasks required difficult and overwhelming.
