🗺️ Magellan RoadMate 3030 4.7-inch Portable Car GPS Navigator Review

I think this Magellan is the best GPS on the market. Very easy to use and intuitive for the user. The only problem I had is that it freezes sometimes and now it's happening on 2 GPS.

I put off buying a GPS because I didn't want to learn how to use it. After switching on there was nothing in it. All the features are easy, the views are great, and the alerts are awesome. Highly recommended.

I gave the GPS two stars because it is very difficult to update maps. In fact, I haven't been able to update the maps yet. When you try to start downloading updates, the system tells you that you need to purchase some driver updates for $29. I also have two other GPS brands and have had no issues with their map updates throughout their lifetime. I would not recommend this product.

This is my second Magellan GPS and I love it. I saw my son use his GPS from another manufacturer and I didn't like it. I like Magellan better for its ease of use and accuracy. I would not buy a double name GPS. I'm sticking with Magellan. The screen size is better than others and does not obstruct the view through the windshield. I highly recommend this product.

I bought it as a Christmas present. Haven't used it until today (01/03/2011) for a trip to Atlanta. The first three hours worked out fine or something - for money, step-by-step instructions. Then, just as I was driving into the greater Atlanta area. and I really needed it, @#$%^&* this thing was going crazy, turning on and off all the time. I have never opened my route and have not created any routes. I had to stop and dig up printed Google directions. I love the big screen, I love the accuracy

I bought this to replace my old Magellan. While overall I was happy with the old one, it was the smaller model and I was ready for an upgrade. My old model was fine but it was more of a minor issue and didn't give street names and some of the options the newer models now offer.
