Works great. We applied 3 layers to our fridge covered with 3 layers of chalk paint. The kids love it.

The tin was enough for our project but I wasn't too keen on this brand. Our walls are nice and smooth, but the paint is a little clumpy. We used the sponge they suggested and it fell apart completely after the second use (you have to wait 24 hours for the first layer to dry). The paint didn't have a strong odor so that was a plus. Pleasantly surprised how well the product holds magnets. I was afraid it wouldn't work because of all the various negative reviews I read. I applied three coats and mixed very thoroughly before applying the first coat and between each subsequent coat. One can was enough for exactly 3 layers on an area of 48 x 66 inches. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews but this magnetic paint was perfect for my project. It was indeed a splatter, it was difficult to work with and it took several coats to make sure it was as magnetic as I wanted after covering it with chalkboard paint, but it came out great in the end. suggest painting the whole wall with this color, otherwise you will go crazy.
