🚗 Magnaflow 10768 2.5" Stainless Steel Y-Pipe Exhaust System Review

Great product, well made. As other reviews have said it's not as polished as the picture shows but it isn't and that's a problem because it's still welded under the car.

I connected this Y-pipe to a pair of 2.5" stainless steel Magnaflow nozzles on my 2008 Colorado 4x4 with a 3.7 liter engine and a twin tube installed just in front of the rear wheel on the passenger side. This pipe was heavy, thick metal, well welded and looked like a quality piece overall. Welding to the exhaust pipes was easy. It was a purchase with no regrets. I recommend it!

So first I want to say that it's very durable and the welds are 100% perfect. The only problem I had was they sent me a used rusty one. It does not rust completely, but around welds and on pipe ends. Unless it's been in storage for a long time. I haven't installed it in my car yet, but it will sound good. It would be 5 stars if they sent me a new one.

Did the trick on my GTi Mk6. Removed the silencer and needed a splitter. The muffler shop in West Palm Beach did a terrible job making the splitter. That created by the silencer magazine created a pressure zone and added a whistling sound at full throttle. This one fixed it. Highly recommended. Well built and from a reputable company.

Just received the Y-pipe! First, I've heard a lot of good things about the performance of this part. In my experience, Magnaflow produces very high quality and durable parts. I've already ordered silencers there. My main gripe with this though is that it looked rusty as other people said theirs came. It doesn't look used, at least I don't think so, but it's definitely not as polished as in the photo. Don't let that stop you from enjoying a great piece, though.
