The design of the exhaust is excellent, the package arrived without damage. If you want a loud exhaust, this isn't it. This changed the note of the exhaust and gave it a nice buzz. Sounds good at idle and full throttle. If you are looking for a quality muffler to replace your stock muffler then this is a great choice!

Installed on 2018 RAM 1500 300hp 3.6L engine. Welded instead of a normal silencer. The factory resonator has remained. Paired with a K&N air filter. Got 2 mpg in the first week. There is no drone in the cabin. Sounds great at startup. Not Hemi, but sounds a bit meaty. The exhaust store charged me $115 for the installation. $600 cheaper than a Magnaflow LOL Cat Back. GREAT choice for V6 Ram

I installed the Speed Y pipe, removed the cat and muffler on my V10 Excursion. It sounded like a screeching trumpet in WOT. I've watched ALL the exhaust videos on youtube and found no satisfaction. So I consulted with a friend who made exhausts and he recommended this muffler. That helped. No more hoarse or glassy sound. Softens without loss of performance.

We really like the sound of this muffler when we installed it but a few details could be added in the installation guide. Perfect volume in my opinion, just enough to hear when cruising around town and it sounds very harsh when I step on the gas pedal, but quiet enough at cruising speed to carry on conversations or calls. Best of all, there's no hum (at least not yet)!

Installed on my 2004 RAM 1500. I didn't remove the resonator so it's pretty quiet at idle. At idle it is very similar to stock. However, when you put it under load and hit around 2000 rpm, it sounds amazing. Good deep throaty rumble. Maybe at some point I'll remove the resonator to make it a bit louder, but so far I like it. Absolutely no drone at any speed. I love the fact that it is high quality stainless steel. I am very satisfied with my decision for the Flowmaster.

Magnaflow 12259 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 18" muffler low hum on take off. Good sound in WOT no drone at any speed even when using it in v4 mode in the flap and in I left resonator. Sounds good but not loud. I also ordered 2 x 3" x 2.75" stainless steel adapters. Please note my muffler is in front of the muffler. Amazing. Installed on 2013 Sierra 5.3. Nice deep rumble, nothing crazy like straight whistles. did not seek the status of an idiot. But definitely barks when you push the skinny peddler. TO UPDATE:. After having it on my truck for over a year it got a little louder over time but mostly deeper and all in a good way! They're going through a "breaking in period" or something, and they're definitely improving over time. My Beance crashed into a truck and got a 2014 Sierra. I will buy it again…

I've always had a Dodge and a Jeep and have always used Flowmaster mufflers. I've had most of the different series they make and really liked the sound. But now I have a Hemi 5.7 in the Jeep and I've tried a 50 Series Flowmaster and it sounded great at idle but had a rattling noise at 1200-1500 rpm.
