So I was a bit skeptical about buying it, but at $9 I decided to give it a try. I have the club car precedent of 2016 and hit 12mph. After installation, the car accelerated to 16 miles per hour on level ground. I was very surprised that a small magnet can deliver such a great speed. For a newer club car I would recommend it!

As the name suggests, it worked! Although the instructions are a bit lacking, it is very easy to install. Simply lift the back of the cart, remove the rear passenger wheel, remove the two bolts holding the existing magnet mount to the shaft, then replace this unit with the old one.
