Holds phone great won't charge

I had to replace the first one because it overheated and cracked the replacement won't charge my phone don't know what's wrong it's been great product for a couple Days but long term identifier, look elsewhere

Bad MagSafe on a good charger.

I bought this MagSafe charger hoping it would work with my MagSafe compatible case but the magnet was too weak. Even if the charger is tilted at an angle, the phone will just slide off. I returned this charger. Everything went great - no problems. Then I bought a charger that would clamp the phone which was much better than this. Otherwise it might have worked better. I am not sure.

Ideal for MagSafe cases. Check whether this air vent is suitable for your vehicle.

This is a great mount and the magnetic part works great with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have a case that works with MagSafe magnetic mounts so it's perfect for that. The only problem I had was with the ventilation part. It worked great in my old car (2009 Honda Accord) but not so well in my new car (2018 Mazda 6). I replaced the bleed piece from an old mount that fits this mount, but it may not work for everyone.

Nice Car Charger

At first I was concerned about it because it is a vent design. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how it works. Fixed two issues I had with vent based mounts: they protruded from the vents and also had an added clip-on feature to keep the vents longer. It sticks out of the vent a little more than I thought it would, but it's not bad. Works great with the MagSafe charging case. In general, for the price and functionality, I definitely recommend it.

70% of the time it works every time.

Fine. It's slippery than a seedy used car salesman during an ice storm, so make sure you set your phone up for it properly the first time. There's no room for error. I also don't use a case at all, so I can't tell how it sticks to it with the case between the phone's magnet and the base's magnet. Once you put the phone on properly, it holds up pretty well. Being in northeastern Pennsylvania, with some of the worst roads in America, it handles 70% potholes and I'd say it's a win.
