💪 High-Strength Neodymium Magnetic Latch Set – 16 lb Capacity Review

I bought a couple of these to make access panels in a tiled wall, they hold up really well. amazing strength for a small magnet.

Strong little magnets of excellent quality. Used this bilge door on my deck, closed so my 3 and 4 year old daughters couldn't open it and fall on the steps. Durable and easy to install. They are also useful for holding gates or doors with spring loaded hinges in the fully open position.

Using a 5/8" Forstner bit to cut a flat bottomed hole, installing the 2VAG1 Industrial Grade Magnetic Latch Kit, Neodymium, 16lbs was easy. Not sure if a 5/8" twist drill would fit, but the tip of the blade drill seemed too big for the center screws to hold the parts in place. They work well on our inner pocket doors - just as we hoped.

This article needed photos so I took some. I didn't have the tools required to make the round indentation as instructed, so it sticks out further and as you can see there's still a gap. My kitchen is small and this cabinet is hanging open to prevent my dishwasher door from opening and closing. Now he stays away. I think I'll buy another one and have my handyman install it, although I found it easy and quick to do "good enough" with my drill and screwdriver.
