They fit for something else I didn't think they were for, smaller than expected and not as strong as I thought. The price is good for what they are. Good magnetic hold but won't hold anything over 2 pounds. I tried to hang a windmill on him, but he didn't hold up. I didn't weigh the bell, but it wasn't that heavy. I bought these to hang pans on the wall of our stainless steel fridge. It did not work. I weighed each pan and none of them weighed around 2lbs so I figured they would fit as they should hold 8lbs when hung horizontally. They didn't work. We have other rare earth magnets that we tried using with them but that didn't work either. So we went to Laws to get a big magnetic hook. They didn't work either. I ordered these a while ago and started using them a few months ago. When I opened the box I was surprised at the size because I thought I had ordered a much larger size. Didn't have time to look at my order but they put my keys and mask on the fridge (not the reason I originally bought them). I looked through my previous orders today to see if the same company offers larger hook sizes and found the sizes listed for the hooks I have. Either the sizes do NOT match or they sent me the wrong size.

I've done some informal testing on them.1. When the magnet is attached to my horizontal surface (shelf mount), it holds the detergent container filled with water, which weighs 132 ounces (8.25 pounds).
