piss off! Was sent damaged.

Damn! I've read reviews of some of these tiles arriving damaged but apparently they were damaged in the box. Four of the eight were damaged and I can't even see the fragments! The packaging was sealed with tape after tearing open as shown in the second photo. Who the hell runs a business like this? A return, no matter how cool the idea might seem.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • So far so good

You look great!

I bought a house from 1875 with old stucco ceilings that have been papered and painted several times. They were cracked and a hot mess. These tiles were easy to install and looked amazing! They were very easy to install. I caulked them and painted them with flat ceiling paint and you would never guess it was styrofoam. If you have crappy blankets that you want to make beautiful on the cheap, buy them.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Don't judge until you hang a few from the ceiling.

At first I was disappointed. It seemed to me that I would never hang these oversized styrofoam panels on my ceiling. We decided to tape a few to the ceiling and see how it looks. Once they're on the ceiling, they look amazing. Ease of installation. The only issue we had was edge damage and the occasional errant edge. The random ones were the worst, especially if you didn't catch them right away. We took advantage of the bad edges on the outside edges that we needed less trimming.

Don't be put off by bad reviews!

Mainly ceiling repair. They're as thin and heavy as a sheet of styrofoam, but they look great when you paint them. I always hated the ugly ceiling in our downstairs bedroom. I didn't know what to do with it other than hire a drywall builder and demonstrate everything. It was the perfect solution as we just had to glue it on. Unfortunately we did not order enough, so we are waiting for the second order to be completed. The first photo is my old ugly blanket and the second is what we already…

Absolutely perfect!

I was skeptical at first, so I just ordered one box. To my great surprise, it's just amazing! You can see in my photos that I redid the ceiling in my kitchen after I had a problem with the plumbing in this house I'm flipping. These things are so easy to work with, it took me about an hour to do what I've been doing so far and that's only because I took the extra step and created billboard templates and hung everything before I started to cut these I have already ordered the remaining tiles I…

16 of 24 tiles arrived damaged

Ordered 3 packs (24 tiles). I put them on, they looked good. One was slightly damaged but I had to use it anyway. Then I decided to make another room. I have ordered 3 more packs (24 tiles). 16 tiles were completely damaged and I couldn't use them. The damage was so severe that the person who put it in the (undamaged) shipping box must have seen the damage. I sent them back and got a replacement (didn't want to wait and fiddle with returning damaged ones). The new ones were ok. So I decided to…

Very fragile, hard to obtain Successful delivery

Good luck getting 8 tiles intact! On my first order, 3 tiles were damaged, 2 in the middle of the tile. One of them was on top so it could be damaged, but the other was buried inside. The packaging box showed signs of damage and I remember the plastic bag the tiles came in was already open so I think they repackaged the damaged tiles and sent them back hoping someone kept them would. This isn't a bad strategy, though: you might need 6, for example, or you can cut off the damaged area. However I
