Description of ๐Ÿ“ถ Low-Cost HT-M00 WiFi Gateway - Dual Channel 868-915 MHz Lorawan Lora Gateway with ESP32 Sx1276 Chip, 5V, Built-in Antenna, Ideal for Smart Family LoRa Applications

Low-cost Dual Channel Gateway - HT-M00 is located to smart family LoRa applications that work with less than 30PCS LoRa nodes. . ESP32 + SX1276 - This gateway is based on two SX1276 chips driven by ESP32. Emulates LoRa Demodulators - We wrote a software mixer (also called a baseband simulation program) to make it possible to achieve 125KHz SF7~SF12 spreading factor monitoring. Automatic Adaptive Spread Spectrum Factor - SF7 to SF12 for each channel is optional. Support for LoRaWAN Class A, Class C protocols - Maximum output is 18 ยฑ 1dB.

ESP32 can't go wrong

I need a LoRa system with ESP32. The ESP32 is a great microcontroller and seems to be very mature with the Arduino IDE. The only problem with the device is the antenna. It's only marginally useful at 915MHz and only good for short-range testing. I tested it with a 9GHz VNA and it showed very low gain at 915MHz and terrible SWR. I would advise if you need long distances to find a better antenna.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Requires socket

This is a very good board and the overall quality is excellent

This is very good value for what you get. A complete ESP-32 board with Oled display and LoRa WiFi, tested and ready for development. I just did a quick thumbnail rendering demo using the U8x8 library in this video. I have to say that the only detail that doesn't suit me is the battery charge, which in my case isn't the best, so we have to point that out to the Chinese manufacturer Heltec.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • definitely a bad product

good solid construction

I thought I'd try a random ESP32 development board and I'm really happy with it. They are marked Heltec and correspond to the pinout, but who knows. QUALITY CONSTRUCTION - The OLED display is held in place with what appears to be a machined plexiglass bracket that attaches with screws and is really solid. The outside of the bracket is fairly close to the LoRa u.FL connector so you need to be a bit careful with the cable bracket. The position of the WLAN/BT antenna is a bit uncertain, but itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Same as everything so far
Cons
  • Nothing
