The product operation guide can be obtained in the product guide and document. This Raspberry Pi expansion board supports Raspberry P. The Relay Board gives your Raspberry Pi board the ability to control high voltage/high current devices, and easily makes normal home appliances become intelligent. Can be accessed programmatically or directly by shell. Up to 4 layers can be stacked. Switch the I2C address of the device through the DIP switch on the circuit board to ensure that the four-layer module gets different addresses, thus avoiding the problem of address duplication. The 4 Channel Relay uses high-quality relay modules combined with the most popular microcontroller technology to communicate with the Raspberry Pi. You can use mulitiple relay modules stacked together to add many channels; You can stack up to four layers. The 4 Channel module is very fast, easy to install, and supports multi-language development, making it ideal for smart home projects

Works well. Easy to use. The silkscreen is wrong.

The board goes very well with the Pi 3. Relay control was very easy using the Python library. The only problem was that the silk-screened labels for the relay outputs were misplaced; NC ports have been labeled NO and vice versa.

Works (but not the first time)

Would have been 5 stars but the first one broke. Got a refund/replacement and it works like a charm! It now works to (hopefully) keep my plants alive as part of an automated plant watering system with soil saturation sensors. 3 different I2C caps work without interference. I like it.

NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) names swapped

All 4 relays have 3 connection points: NC (normally closed) COM (common) NO (normally open) Test with multimeter for der Continuity test shows the NC and NO marks are *REVERSED*. The pin labeled "NC" is actually normally open. to understand for a while why your stuff isn't working; in the worst case, you can damage sensitive equipment or suffer injury/electric shock.

I2C programmable and stackable

I like the module and it looks high quality - not sure how much current the relays can handle as they are physically small. Modules are stacked and programmed over the I2C bus. I don't know if the RPi can supply enough power to run 16 relays (4 stacked), but there is an option for an external power supply. My only concern is that the provided API only allows the relay to switch one at a time. My use requires two relays to switch simultaneously, so the module will not work for this application -

Works as intended in the Computers & Accessories category

Very easy to use, true Plug-N-Play. Use it with Falcon Player Pi to activate a relay during show playback with a simple direct command to run the script (no card programming required). Each relay is independently controlled and each circuit controlled by the relay is isolated from the others. A GPIO header extension was used to allow the HAT to be mounted on a case with a fan and supply air to the fan. when working with high voltage or high current (within the device specification). I use itโ€ฆ
