It's a nice little LED-backlit LCD, but not OLED as advertised

This isn't an OLED display; This is an LCD display with LED background. OLED displays have many advantages over this product; A quick Google search will help if you can't see the difference. It's clear from some of the other reviews that the reviewers don't understand the difference, but still like the product. I love this item and I think it's a good LCD. I deducted 3 stars because the seller's excellent description misrepresents this product as having superior performance and value.

Ideal for side projects

Perfect for side projects when you need visual information without connection. I'm not using it for high framerates, so I'm not sure of the limits yet.

LCD (not OLED) and SPI (not I2C)

Too bad. It's a good SPI LCD, but MakerFocus has been forced to lie about what it is (and isn't). I gave it two stars because it's a great display that works well. It would have gotten 4 stars (the highest I've ever gotten) if they hadn't lied. When MakerFocus kids cry from hunger and bill collectors bang on the outside of their cold stores, they should be staring into a muddy puddle. : That emaciated, haunted face reflected in them did. never lie

Pin stickers and documentation are confusing

There is a poor guy out there who needs this information, just like me: The pinout for the MSP1601 130x130 color TFT LCD with SSD1283A sold by Makerhawk -Controller fits to these Arduino pins. This is NOT an I2C protocol device. Low power display for computers and accessories

I connected it to an Arduino clone board. The display works well with the standard I2C library and it wasn't difficult to find a datasheet for issuing commands. The brightness of the display is normal indoors, it works well outdoors, but you may need to protect it from direct sunlight.
