This RPI camera mount was very easy to assemble. It doesn't seem designed for cameras with IR, but I was able to slightly modify the build to include IR. Highly recommended.

Good product. It also works with 8MP v2 camera. The hardest part of my build was removing the backing paper from the acrylic pieces and manipulating the small nuts on the screws (I believe they are 2.5mm). Great value for a basic camera mount.

The holder works well once assembled. The instructions are very small and therefore difficult to decipher. The design is fairly simple, so it might be easier to just hold the pieces in place with your fingers and figure out how they fit together.

Works great with my Pi Camera. I especially liked the cloth bag that came with it. It blends very well but can be a bit difficult for clumsy fingers. Once the backing is removed from the acrylic it looks great and has additional mounting holes for the base. highlighted.

That's it. I didn't have the instructions but there was an extra set of screws. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing judging by the complaints about the directions in these reviews. The assembly was easy judging by the photos here. To be honest the hardest part was detaching the paper from the acrylic.

Works perfectly once assembled but figuring out how to do it without instructions or even a link to it would be annoying if I didn't attend the class and had an online teacher guide us through the whole process. However, I can't imagine using the Pi Camera without it. It's not a camera, so useless to judge the quality of the camera, but it was precisely cut and fits perfectly.

After many emails I finally got four clear pictures how to assemble this case last weekend. The manual that accompanies the camera is incredibly poorly done. Images are small and confusing. The instructions cannot be read without a magnifying glass. Tech support is slow and took forever to provide clear images. Even with these photos, this case took too long to assemble.

Once assembled this little bracket looks and works well and will probably meet my needs. BUT . . . Poorly written instructions combined with microscopic and blurry photos are worthless. It took me an hour of trial, error and guesswork to assemble the mount! Spend money on some decent photos. Also, hire a technical writer who is native English speaker.
