Great customer service and great quality!

Ordered this while learning Arduino and thought it would give me a lot of expandability for future projects. Upon opening and assembling, I noticed that one of the connector pins was broken. I emailed Makeronics and got a very quick response and they got it right with no questions asked. Nonetheless; The installation is easy to assemble and of excellent quality. I will definitely order more from them if the need arises. Thanks to Makeronics and especially to Peter! <3

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Cheap to manufacture, requires different consumables to assemble

You must either cyanoacrylate or epoxy the power ends or they will twist and come loose. You will need to use thread lock on the small bottom nuts on each power wire lug or they will fall off (if they haven't already) and get lost. I used permanent high strength (red) gel and cyanoacrylate because I don't want to mess around with the power tips again.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No paint required

Great layout except for binding pins

Great layout, excellent packaging incl. extra rubber foot and screw, but binding pins are not first class. The notch D in the rack is minimal, it doesn't catch the cutout on the board. The grip of the stem with the plastic handle is weak, so the small solder pin nut plays a crucial role in holding the banana pin together once it's on the board. No deal breaker.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Everything great

Quality Breadboard: Computer Components

Breadboard holds components and cables securely and has more than enough connection points for most projects. The stands are of normal quality and fit snugly on the banana plugs. Stable mounting plate and excellent rubber feet.

Pros
  • Feel Good
Cons
  • Modern

This product would be great if it came with

The small rubber feet didn't hold up at all. The sticky part wasn't strong enough. It was incomplete and they made it difficult to get replacement parts. The process of getting help at Revain was no less.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • . The list would be long.

Power and ground bars are not solid

I bought this prototyping board for circuit and electronics labs. It's not a bad board overall, but the power and ground strips have a break halfway through. If you're building larger circuits, you'll need jumpers, otherwise you won't have power or ground on the other half of the board.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons

You must treat the power ends with either cyanoacrylate or epoxy or they will twist and come loose. I used a long life high strength (red) gel and cyanoacrylate because I don't want to mess with re-powering the delay.
