Best pi zero hub around

great design, great product, great quality. Uses zero GPIO pins, leaving the bus free for A/D converters or whatever your heart desires. Assembled in less than 5 minutes. Only thing that could be better would be if it had an audio interface then it would be instant streaming radio for the masses. Much easier to work with than an external USB hub and so compact. I've bought two so far and both are great.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Fell in love with him.

I like the 4 USB ports on the board. Great price, it costs a little less than a Happy Meal. No soldering or wire required to connect the USB hat to the Raspberry Pi Zero. Five years ago, I wondered what was next for computers. Well here we are, very small, economical, user-friendly. The connection between the Hub Hat and the Raspberry Pi Zero is very cleverly designed. It uses spring loaded pins that make contact with the back of the Raspberry Pi Zero and (W). Get one, you will love it.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poor

Big. Works with Pisugar battery!

Works great. I have a Pisugar Raspberry Pi Zero battery that also uses pogo pins and was trying to figure out how to use both this and this hub. Turns out you can put the battery right under the hub! The solder pads under the pogos on this hub work just like the small circles of receptors under the Pi (and are in the same place). The only thing I don't like is that you can't use any of the USB ports on the Pi, otherwise the USB ports on this hub won't work.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Easy to install and great performance

Easy to install on your Pi Zero if you have a tiny Phillips screwdriver. I had to use an X-Acto blade to tighten the bolts (no big deal). Be careful with the spring-loaded pins when installing; It's easy to bend one of them so it doesn't touch the connection on the Pi. Well, *it* was easy for *me* to bend one of them, but also very easy to gently push it back on track. After my clumsy mistake was fixed, it started and just ran. Excellent technique and functionality, highly recommended. Deserves

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Speed

This is a stylish and compact solution for adding USB ports to your Raspberry Pi Zero. I am deducting a star because there is a lack of sufficient information on how to connect HAT to RPi Z for newbies like me. As soon as I contacted the support team, they helped me figure out how to connect it, but the device I received turned out to be faulty. The seller's support quickly replaced the device and now it works perfectly. I'm happy with it now.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Really cool easy way to add 4 USB ports to PI Zero

I had to add USB ports to PI Zero. I came across this board which sounded attractive but the description of its installation was unclear. When it arrived I was confused by the 4 pogos until I realized they were pads on the PI Zero. Circuit board along with correct pad/pogo mounting orientation and alt! Four USB ports with virtually no extra effort! Works as described, right out of the box with no extra fuss! I'm excited! You might not want to use pogo pins for long term use, but for rapid…

Pros
  • . Good product for the price
Cons
  • Gotchas

I was wrong. The product works fine!

I'm editing my old review because I made a mistake. You must ensure the Pi Zero is NOT in OTG mode for this hat to work. If you set it to OTG, the Pi Zero will act as a slave USB hub and the hat will not work. The Pi Zero must be in primary USB hub mode for the hat to function properly. I discovered this the hard way. === Old Review == I recently got this cap and installed it on my Pi Zero W. Long story short, the USB ports on the hat didn't work. Bewildered, I tried two other Pi Zero 1.3, but…
