I had no trouble landing polymer clay on a hollow nut extruder. A bit of a hassle to clean after use. Since the extruder has to use a fairly soft clay, I'm not entirely sure if that's an advantage over making your own holes in the beads. I'm still evaluating it! I was dying to use them but unfortunately these adapters didn't work in my polymer clay extruder. The thread for the screw on the "cap" that holds the attachment wasn't enough to hold the cap in place and the cap popped out every time I tried to use it and I tried many times. I even checked that my extruder fits the adapters. Maybe something has changed in the design of my new extruder since others wrote their review, but I would have to grind the perimeter of the nozzles to fit INSIDE…

This is amazing! They create a hole in the extruded clay. This makes it easier to make uniform tube beads and pen caps. It is also excellent for preserving. I extrude whatever color I want for the outside of the bullseye or two-tone circle. Then I carefully trimmed one side, added length and inserted an extruded circle of a different color, with our different colors intertwined.
