🛍️ Makita 122793-0 Dust Collection Bag Review

Adding this bag to my journal was a game changer. I was constantly cleaning up after a planing session. This snug fitting bag (requires adapter) allows me to pick up a large quantity of shavings and toss them in our garden bin.

The ideal solution for collecting all the chips from a power planer. Most of the sawdust is still in the air, but my husband is making it a lot easier to clean up than having to clean up after his woodwork.

So there are no part numbers for the optional dust bag in the instructions. You must look for it. Then you order it and realize you need another $7 part. I'm only guessing because I can't find a description of these parts anywhere on the Makita website. They are vaguely described in the manual but part numbers are not included. Never again. Without a dust bag or vacuum cleaner adapter, a planer is practically useless. so $170 for a simple planer $200 to keep it working safely and properly…
