Excellent 14 inch blade

I have been using Makita brand blades for twenty years. I usually buy the cheapest I can find. usually deviate when pressed hard. Makita rims are harder and stiffer. I've cut oilfield tubulars that are close to the 80 chart and I wouldn't use anything other than a band saw. They really understand the difference if you cut corners they are a very good price too!

  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • So far so good

Cheaper than a slicing blade and more cuts per blade

I ordered a slicing blade from Diablo. The first 3-4 cuts cut perfectly. Then it started cracking! It stopped cutting with no additional downward pressure and began to heat up leaving clean cuts. I sent it back and received these blades. The same clean cut as the first Diablo cuts and it's still ongoing. I cut 2-3 times less often with almost no distortion and even with the same blade. Don't stress your blade. Let it sink in. And there will be little, if any, cleansing

Very strong, precise, thin.

I bought a Dewalt cut-off saw and the blade that came with it was almost useless and didn't cut well. or a chip that looks like an angle grinder blade. They are relatively cheap and have a decent lifespan compared to a standard blade, there are diamond blades that can last a lot longer without sacrificing size, but they cost over $100. thin and I've made about 30 cuts on a 1" square tube with a 1/4" wall and the blade is only worn about 1/2" Highly recommended.

Great product worth its price.

Used these on my cutoff saw to cut 20 foot, ten and fifteen foot I-beams. As a result, he made five cuts, went through a little over half a blade with no problems, cut flawlessly. . Just walk slowly and confidently, this is not a race. A little pain in the ass, yes. Why? Because I'm cheap, and if you order a joist shorter than the standard 20ft, they charge you 1) for the cutting 2) a whole lot for 20ft anyway because the rest just ends up being scrap. So if I spent $20 I saved about $150 andโ€ฆ

Amazing deal on great cutting discs

I was touching up my trusty 40 year old Makita cut-off saw and the disc I had on it just stalled the motor without cutting anything. Luckily I ordered this pack of five wheels and changed wheels right away. On his next try, he cut 1/4 x 3 x 3 inch corners in 45 seconds. I'm doing a project that requires a lot of steel and I've made at least fifty cuts and there's a lot of work left on the first of five wheels. They last a long time. I've always had high opinions of Makita products, but thisโ€ฆ

I would skip this one. not even suitable for thin mild steel.

I have a great Milwaukee saw that I've used a few times. It rolled up with no problem. However, it doesn't cut really well. I've cut thinner angle steel (not hard steel or anything) and it took much longer and required significant cutting pressure. Otherwise, it only turned against him. I DON'T KNOW. nothing like the hot knife through oil I experienced on the original Milwaukee bike. disappointed and I feel like it might damage my saw. I stopped five times to make sure it was a blade for steelโ€ฆ

NOT FOR GAS SAWS!

I should have read other reviews of this disc although the description says it is for chainsaws for things like rebar but it is not! This saw blade is designed exclusively for table-top type metal cut-off saws, which have less power and a slower speed than high-speed gas-powered saws designed for cutting concrete. After one blade it deformed a lot and you can tell there was a problem. So if you read the details about the blade you can see pictures that explain what it is for. I spoke to a local
