Not what I expected from a Makita 56 tooth blade

I bought this blade for my Wen chainsaw and was expecting clean cuts in plywood. I was very disappointed with the amount of tearing when cutting the plywood. I will never buy Makita knives again.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Exchange available

Not the same as original 55t.

Not as smooth as the 55 ton blade that came with the saw. I can't find the original Mikita 55t saw blade that came with the saw. Too bad it works like a planer and leaves no saw marks. This is not as good and leaves saw marks that need to be sanded down to join. Shame shame Makita.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Best investment for my chainsaw

I put this on my Wen CT1065 chainsaw and it cuts through plywood like butter with no shavings. I switched from a standard 24T blade and am impressed! Obviously more teeth means less chipping, but I never thought a blade could cut so smoothly. Will definitely buy if/when this blade dulls.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

Excellent fit for Wen chainsaw

As other reviewers have noted, this Wen chainsaw blade is excellent. I cut raw and finished 3/4 inch plywood. (You need to make 23 sheets or more) Cuts without chips both along the fibers and across. This saw is corded and shows no signs of being stuck with this blade, likely due to the thin kerf and coating.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Excellent saw. for saws parts and accessories

I bought this to replace the standard blade that came with my Wen chainsaw. To be honest I didn't cut with the standard Wen blade to make an accurate comparison with this Makita blade. However, I compared it to my 7 1/2" Ryobi circular saw using a Freud saw blade to cut an inch thick ash board. The Makita blade cut through the board as if it weren't even there, producing a clean one Cut without sticking Freud's Ryobi also cuts well but seems to cut a bit slower and has some burn marks.

UNDISCOVERED: Durable 5 3/8 " Metal Circular Saw Blade

Why this 18v cordless circular saw that wields those amazing 56 ton carbide tipped metal cutting blades never caught on, I never know why When it comes to making commercial pipe stands or cutting pipe or threaded rod there is no better tool on the market that is light weight and compact and with these blades I honestly haven't bought any in three years I do give these woods though only a 4 instead of a 5 as these are woods not for beginners, you should always remember to protect your eyes and…

Pros
  • Great Construction
