Beautiful Straight Cut Granite Countertop

This blade cuts very cleanly. Used it on a skil saw to cut a granite countertop. Consumed a lot of water just to keep the blade alive and stop the dust. Before I started, my wife insisted that a tiny ski saw could cut granite. But this blade proved her wrong.

Pros
  • Great Price

Cuts Asphalt Good for Blades

I used this to dig a drainage ditch in front of a garage for an irregular stepped driveway. I lowered the blade 1/2" every few feet to encourage flow in one direction. This blade cuts very well after several passes. I didn't use water when cutting so it was dusty as expected. I expect that I can get so much more out of this blade I would recommend this blade to anyone who needs to cut concrete or asphalt.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Most durable 7 inch stone cutting disc I've ever used

Outperformed all other brands I've tried. The blades last an average of 1.5 weeks on my masonry jobs, cutting sandstone slabs 2-3 inches thick. used Bosch, Ridgid, Dewalt, Kseibi, Whirlwind, Taichiv (shit) and No-Brand by Harbor Freight (shit). This Makita lasted over 2.5 weeks. It was a pleasant surprise. While expensive ($34), it ends up having the same value for money as much cheaper alternatives like the Whirlwind ($16) as it only lasts half (1.5 weeks). Fewer replacement blades.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Secret

To dig up the swamp I used my regular small circular saw to make about 30 foot cuts, first 3/4" and then 1 1/2". This allowed me to knock out the rest and leave smooth, even cuts on the floor surface. This first (I ordered 2) blade did it all and it looks like the game will do more. When not using the vacuum outdoors, use a small amount of water, which you can drip from a hose or bucket, if possible. You should still use mouth and nose protection, because concrete dust usually consists of…
