It will take a long time.

Excellent drill. Well made, durable, I think it will last a long time. Makita tools have always impressed me. Whether they are mains powered or mains powered, they last longer and perform better than most other brands. Are you paying more just for the brand? Probably yes, but it suits me. This is a better tool than similar drill bits from other manufacturers.

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

DRILL, DRILL on Drills

This is my first hammer drill and the build quality and feel of the drill makes me think this will be the only hammer drill I will ever need to buy. I have several Makita tools from cordless drills and grinders and this drill fits again. I used it for a few days to fix a porch that the carpenter bees had completely destroyed. I drilled some 1/2" holes in the block and three 7" deep 5/8" holes in the cast concrete to attach the 6x6 stud brackets to the porch stud posts. All of this was drilled…

Good drill but underpowered for more demanding applications

Bought this drill to mix small batches of grout (5 gallon bucket). from the smell of burning when mixing a full bucket. I bought a Milwaukee 5380-21 1/2-inch 9-AMP Heavy Duty Impact Drill a few weeks later, I'm much more impressed with Milwaukee, it delivers the goods without the obvious strain on the motor that the Makita does. indicates. As a contractor who was going to use this to mix buckets of mortar almost every day, I couldn't expect it to last very long. Since selling Makita and leaving

Pros
  • Demolition drills and hammers

  • Ugly packaging
