Terrible Quality: Don't Waste Money

I purchased this accessory for my power tool and it was a complete disappointment. The finish was rough and uneven, causing damage to my project. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I knew this product was below average quality. I was left with no choice but to throw it away and buy a replacement from a different brand. To anyone out there considering buying this product, save your money and invest in better Tools and Home Improvement products.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality and rough finish.

Very good quality, suitable for planer knives

As sharp as possible, leaves hard or soft wood surfaces really smooth. Used in Makita 1900b hand planer but also fits my Dewalt 26676.

Pros
  • CUT FASTER AND LONGER with Makita HSS double-edged blade design that can be repeatedly sharpened for later use on hardwoods
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Don't stay sharp for too long!

These blades are short lived on hardwood. Small original tungsten carbide blades last at least 5 times longer, if not longer! The only reason I give it 2 stars and not one is because these blades can be sharpened and used over and over again. Small tungsten carbide blades, if not broken, can be turned over and reused as new blades.

Pros
  • These discs are optimized for use with Makita 3.25" slicers and are compatible with all 3.25" slicers. They are ideal for heavy building planning, leveling, framing and wood finishing work.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
