Suitable for fish and aquatic animals

Use as stated and good. Test before implementation and then again 12 hours later. Repeat dosing if necessary. Or save a lot of money and buy baking powder.

Great for reverse osmosis water

I use a 5 gallon teaspoon of reverse osmosis water to adjust the pH and alkalinity. I also add 2 teaspoons Replenish and 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Trace. Ideal water for cichlids.

Ideal for maintaining 7.8 PH.

I have a 125 gallon cichlid only tank. I do a 40 liter water change once a week. I only need to add 4 teaspoons to keep the pH at 7.8. This large bottle lasts a long time even though the price has doubled since my original purchase.

Great product - use as intended

Malawi/Victoria Buffer is a really great product and works very well. Be sure to use as directed and always dilute the product first. I got cheeky and put it straight into the tank without measure, resulting in the death of several fish, especially large cichlids, when they inhaled it through the gills. Do not do that! After diluting it and even splitting the dose over 2 days, I had no more problems. Make sure you raise your PH slowly or face the consequences like I did.
