Poor quality fitting

Poor quality hardware. I found that one of the main magnets broke when I opened it. It doesn't matter much but leaves a bad impression about the quality of the product. When I tried to connect some devices, port-2 didn't work. The Netgear USB modem could not work through this device. However, Novatel worked. So far I have connected 5 data devices. I don't think it will support that many devices connected at the same time.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive

Power becomes intermittent when using more than 12 ports

I got this for a flight simulator cockpit using Logitech G Flight Panels and controls. I need at least 18 USB ports. Two of these ports are only for charging Android tablets, while three are for the mouse, keyboard, and camera. All devices are USB 2.0 and none of them are external hard drives. However, the hub's 25W limitation prevents all ports from being used. I'm not sure if changing the inrush power supply to a higher wattage and amperage will fix the problem. I've seen other smaller hubs…

It doesn't connect to all ports - sent back 2

I thought it would be convenient and it might be possible to use some smaller ones. First one came - and one bank failed - starting with 2 ports - then it expanded to one bank. So I replaced it thinking that everything as a whole could be faulty - faulty wiring, connectors - whatever. The second came and all was well for the day. Then the ports started falling out again - so I sent the second one back for a refund. A decent idea, but obviously poorly designed and produced.

Fantastic networking products

I had another product that I used for many, many years, a different brand, and it ended up breaking. Not sure why they do it, but they do. Anyway, this one looks really nice and has an on/off switch for each port. It's really awesome.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Style 90

Stops working in less than a week

This is my third, all three have failed in a short time, either the device itself or the power supply, it certainly doesn't support all ports when all are plugged in. Never buy again and never even bothered to return.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Reliability
