Made in Germany! in parts

ever since i bought a new rover from the dealer i have always gone to the dealer for service and paid horrible money. I was asked to check all the basics and they always came up with additional hand and foot care recommendations. But they never tested this cabin air filter for inefficient air conditioning. I just wanted to transfer before I check the AC. The air conditioner blows cold air after changing the cabin filter. I will never take my car to a dealer again.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • lots of stuff

Easy enough to do it yourself in Filter

A simple video search on the internet and I was able to save a significant amount of money replacing the cabin filter on my Volvo. The filter is the same brand/quality used in new car production so it is worth buying. This is easy enough, but a little tricky, so don't try to get a lower quality filter. You don't want to replace this more often than necessary. I was pleasantly surprised at the immediate difference in air quality with the new filter!

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Updates

Excellent replacement cabin filter but difficult to install

Excellent activated carbon cabin filter. Made in Germany. Use the same filter as BMW and other European vehicles. I bought a used car and this filter looked original. NASTINESS is happy that the air in the car is cleaner now. Installation on my 2016 Volvo XC60 was a bit of a chore - I had to remove two pieces of trim, disconnect the wiring harness and pull back the carpet to access the filter. The filter is tight and must be manipulated to insert it without damaging it.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Very close to OEM for 2010 XC60

The most important detail of this filter is its flexibility. This is how it should be during installation. It must be bent, twisted and stuffed to get into the compartment. If it had paper sides like I believe other filters have for this model, the filter would have collapsed. There is no way to slide/insert the filter without deforming it. It's more expensive than the others but I'm sure you should spend the extra $10 on the man. Check YouTube for video installation.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good hard edges allow the filter to be fitted on a curve

My Volvo XC60 needs a cabin filter in the MOST IMPORTANT spot and it is extremely difficult to fit. I bought a cheap filter at a local auto parts store and quickly bent it in half to fit it into place. I noticed that the used one is much stronger so I ordered it from Revain. It was still difficult to install, not because of the filter but because of the design, but the Mann filter was stiff enough not to snap at the edge, yet flexible enough to bend as needed to install it .

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Great price

The filter quality is exactly the same as .

The quality of the filter is exactly the same as the Volvo dealer filter. It's not the filter's fault, but the process and headache of changing the cabin filter on the 2014 Volvo S60 was such a headache. I've never found changing a cabin filter as difficult as 10-20 minutes. However, this machine took over an hour and several YouTube searches before finally using more brute force. The design problem (probably lack of proper process on my part) is that you basically have to do a right angle turn

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great replacement and fits my 2012 Volvo XC60 with 3.2 engine

Looks and fits the same as the filter that was removed. The Mann filter is made in Germany like the one I shot. Tools are not required. ) But I recommend you to watch the installation video on u tube as well. You may want to consider using gloves as shown in the video. I didn't use gloves and got a trophy or two. I recommend using a lamp or flashlight. Tips: Removing the fuse box (it interferes) Pull the top of the box towards the passenger compartment. "Here I have a trophy." Once the top ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
