You can't expect a projector at this price to perform as well as very expensive ones. Game night use is more than adequate unless the game has a very large flat screen. The projector is most enjoyable when used in very dark environments, even in the fading late-day sunlight the projection is barely visible.

This is my fourth projector and by far the cheapest. I have spent between 300 and 2000 in the past. Make sure you understand that this is not native 1080p output, but uses 1080p input and is downsampled for DVD quality projection. When viewing an image from a computer screen, you cannot easily read normal-sized text, but you can increase the size of the text and its features if necessary. I like this projector, especially for the price. I had some problems. The first dust easily gets on the lens from the inside and when it does there is nothing you can do and it will show up on your screen. I replaced it and the second was even worse out of the box. I thought it was the screen itself but realized it was dust particles in the lens. I'm kind of OCD, so this annoyed me, maybe more than anyone else.
