Very difficult! to protect hands and arms

My arm muscles actually hurt *when I use them. Maybe try washing them. I may have to try a different brand. They also run big.

Pros
  • Comfort and warmth of terry cloth lining
Cons
  • Good but not great

I am a flight attendant and I use these gloves when taking cooked meals out of the plane's galley ovens. Ovens cook at temperatures ranging from 130°C (266°F) to 150°C (302°F). I can quickly unload over 200 wrapped aluminum shells with these gloves. Thermal protection is excellent and the medium weight still offers plenty of maneuverability.

Pros
  • Excellent abrasion resistance: excellent durability
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I bought them to safely handle some of them.

I bought these to safely handle some of the 500 degree Fahrenheit hot metal parts I put in the oven. I've used some of those rubber-coated gardening gloves you can buy at the hardware store, but they burned my hands. Although these gloves are about the same thickness as gardening gloves, they block ALL heat from the metal parts I'm working with. They also have grip points so they hold metal well. I have enough dexterity when using them. I am very impressed with how well these gloves work.

Pros
  • Special nitrile coated handle makes it easier to work in moderately oily environments
Cons
  • too dull
