Very fine and soft yarn for knitting

Mom really liked the yarn, although it slipped off the needles easily. She is knitting a baby sweater and may need another ball. I hope I get the same batch of colors!

Pros
  • Brilliant finish
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Yarn too loose

The color was what I expected and the thickness is normal for baby yarn. However, the twist of the yarn is too weak. It splits easily. The yarn loosens with each stitch as I move forward. I've been knitting baby hats for local hospitals for over 10 years and I've never had to go back and row rows because I'm crocheting the yarn that many times. I will not buy this brand again unless I can find the color elsewhere.

The yarn is too small

The product arrived quickly and as advertised. The acrylic is soft to the touch but I feel the threads are too small making it difficult to work with. I have purchased i-cords yarn for my face masks and even with size 2 twin needles the yarn slips off the needles too easily when going through the stitches and tends to split and snag as the stitches are worked will. I even shrunk to size 0 but it keeps slipping and hanging up. I would say that this yarn may be better for baby crocheting but…

Worst yarn I have ever knitted with

This yarn breaks like crazy. Knitting is very difficult. From now on I will avoid this yarn like covid. In fact, I'm considering scrapping my entire project I bought this for and getting something from Knit Picks that's cheaper and works better. That sucks. I bought black and white and black is by far the worst of the two. But actually they don't even look like the same brand/style of yarn. The white is washed out a bit. It's not blurry at all, but it splits and meanders and falls apart when…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
