Master Cylinder Review

I need a clutch master for street traction with Lexus components. Wilwood only offers SAE (3/8-24) fittings. I spent hours looking for an M10 X 1.0 thread adapter (metric) at a truck modification shop in Utah. Why is Wilwood ignoring the metric cylinder market? This Wilwood cylinder offers two mounting options: rear and side. I had to remove the side mount due to the tight packaging.

To all buyers. I bought this master cylinder to fit an old Lotus Europa to replace the old clutch wiring system. The master cylinder is matched to the master-slave cylinder. . The new installation will be a hydraulic clutch. And with this kit I can also move the liquid tank, it fits perfectly. It will take some work, but it's a lot. Perfect match. I agree with the other review that the o-ring is the wrong size. It's too big so it bulges and leaks. You will lose fluid, possibly get air in the brake lines and probably lose braking function! I think you need a #29 ring to fit properly. Check and check the seal yourself. Luckily this happened on the project car which is still on jacks so I saw the leak the next day. Not a very expensive ring at your local hardware store, but you'd think a company that processes critical components like brake

It was a replacement for the one that broke after 1000km. I hope this lasts longer. Even the plastic tanks of the original were absolute junk from day one. They were leaking and unusable from day one. I had to replace the tank with a removed metal tank from Haas Automation, which appears to be the case. The cap pulls off with little force when fully tightened. My faith in the Wilwood brand was tested. So far so good with the new one, but only about 100 km on it. The original has leaked inwards…
