Chrome Steel Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock by Master Lock - Model 1467DAT Review

Will not work on Jeep JK with standard hitch. There isn't enough space on the trailer hitch, but I use it through the spare wheel rim.

This product worked once but the next time I used it the lock was broken and wouldn't open. WITH MY KEY IN! Totally dissatisfied with this product.

I used this lock 3 times on my towbar before the lock spring caught in the cylinder and I had to cut it off! Must be made in China. The safe with lock still works perfectly. Fingers crossed.

Excellent ideal. Unfortunately. It cannot be used as intended because the pin is not long enough to engage. The Toyota Tundra has a standard 2 inch hitch receiver. Doesn't work on F250 either.

Joke - IMPOSSIBLE to use because the design is so cheap and stupid and meant to rob you of your luck so it's stable enough Get a pin lock for the latch wasted by idiotic design

I really wanted this to work for my husband's Toyota FJ but he said it won't fit because the loop is too close to the trailer attachment bar. We installed it at Uhaul, so we're not sure if it's related to the model required for his car or the type of mount Uhaul installs. I wish there were more where the lock hung a little farther from the hinge. It remains only to look for alternative options. Doesn't fit my small hitch - 5/8" stop bar and my small hitch is 1/2". At this price point it would be nice if this product was offered with either stop rods in both diameters or at least a choice. I had to buy a set of two curved bars that had one each for my hitch. The locking mechanism works universally. I bought this and was pleased with the secure part, looks well made and easy to use. I wish the safe was a bit bigger, maybe more boxy than the chime, and an inch wider would be nice.
