It works. I think but not too happy with the metal fading

Not good I mean it's ok if you want to extend the life of your toilet seat. But the metal tarnishes/rusts and is difficult to clean. Also, installation requires more time/effort than just the inevitable purchase of a new seat (especially if your old holes are misaligned). And if not, you have to fill them in etc. Don't get me wrong, it works. I just didn't like the overall quality, but again it was cheaper than replacing the entire seat. You have to drill holes. This is not a common solution.

Don't be fooled. It is not easy to fix a resin toilet seat. The problem is that the two pieces that hold the ring together also form end caps on the bars. The holes in the existing seat match the holes in the end caps. just great. However, you will find that the end caps are made at an angle to the stem and assembly is simply impossible. The end caps do NOT go through the shaft (tube). So you're saying why not just drill new holes in the resin seat? Some resins are easy to work with. A littleโ€ฆ

I would recommend only using on a wooden seat

I would recommend only using on a wooden seat. This loop is of very good quality. Installation is not difficult, but requires some patience. First install the frame screws in the toilet. In fact, these are your only two fixed points of reference. Second, install the crossmember through the strut bolts. The lid hinge mounts fit in the center of the stem between the tank posts, and the seat hinge mounts hold the end of the crossbar in place. Third, you must decide for yourself how to center andโ€ฆ
