Beautiful and easy to install

My dad and I are working on redesigning the van to make it the perfect camper. This product was great, economical and easy to install for our needs. 10/10 I would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Little things

Nice addition to the 2011 Chevy Express

The backup camera and body appear to be well made, the brake light LEDs are brighter than the stock 912. Field of view is good, from the rear bumper out to about 15 feet. Overall a good buy. Would buy again. Could have left a few bikes in the driveway. and now my wife can safely return to the garage.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Might be easier with some mods

Easy to connect Your company should invest in developing a rubber grommet that is the same size as the OEM to allow both sets of wires to fit through. I had to use the original brake light wires (the connector was different). I cut a hole in the original bushing, routed the video cable along with the brake light wires, filled the bushing with silicone sealant, after that the lamp installation took less than 5 minutes. . Made my connections. I found your connection instructions confusing. That's

Bad quality and unfriendly customer service!

My husband bought this camera for my 2008 Chevrolet Express Van. The first thing he noticed was the grommet that fit the hole in the case for the wiring was too small to fit the factory hole so he had to modify the old one to make it work. When he started installing the camera, the protrusions were too big. and broke off. He worked and installed a camera only to find that the 3rd brake light was not working (concluded it was just the camera and not the 3rd brake light). He routed all the cables

  • Can't remember

Excellent reversing camera.

First off, let me say that I'm not a car enthusiast, but I'm an electrician and installed this backup camera myself on my 2012 Chevy Express 2500. I routed the video cable from front to back with relative ease. The camera setup was PERFECT for the OEM third brake light. I connected the video cable to the adapter that came with it, which connects to your video on your receiver. The red connector is power and should not be confused with the left or right audio channel as the adapter has video and
