It's Thanksgiving cranberry walnut pie and it was dripping through the bottom of the pie pan all over the bottom of the oven which set off the smoke alarm and even with the fans and windows open I could about it Can't get yourself to stop crying for 10 minutes. The plate is a disaster! This has never happened with any other plate with a removable base.

Firstly we didn't have the scratching issues that others have reported, ours was spotlessly clean with an easy to remove sticker and we cleaned them first. They are being sold as new and clearly used and/or defective. Came twice with deep scratches. Do not buy. Found this pan and was happy to try it as ATK is amazed by the quality. The frying pan arrived looking like it had been used, run through water, dried with food and then used as a scratching post by the cat. The whole pan was scratched by the non-stick coating.
