Nice box, very flexible.

This is one of the best Raspberry Pi I've seen. Nicely done. Very flexible in customization. Ideal for mounting locations. I expect to purchase more as my need arises.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Speed

Not ready for prime time.

junction box, no screws to prevent the PI board from sliding. Trouble plugging and unplugging cables and USB! The Hifi Berry expansion card did not match the screw holes on the expansion card in the case, and the standard GPIO connector caused the expansion card to sit too high in the case, so screwing it on could "bend" the expansion card. So I can't bolt it on and again there aren't any bolts on the bodywork to do that. With this particular add on board I would have to cut out the casing for…

Well made case from Computer Components

It fits my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ perfectly and I love that the covers sit securely on the case. I use it with a short cap but it's good to have options for the future. The fan adapter works well. I have another case that requires screws, this one doesn't. The fan is simply plugged into the adapter and when connected to 3V it is practically silent, my Pi rarely gets above 42Β°C and everything still fits under the short cover.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Damaged

Great case with some flaws

Well designed, you can assemble and disassemble it without disconnecting any cable from the PI, very flexible and looks better than stackable acrylic cases and offers more protection. I feel like it needs more ventilation on the sides if you stack them on top of each other, although to be honest I haven't tried folding it to say for sure if that would be an issue. 25 mm fans with female connectors are also not very common. Instead, I would have preferred a 30mm fan mount or the included fan…

  • Sturdy build

Very suitable for single board computers

Totally unique case. I bought a black one first and then a white one. The finishes on both are nice and the pieces fit together well. I needed one for my garage - I use an older Pi2 with a relay board to control my garage door and another to host a video surveillance solution with the Pi3 board. Since my garage is painted white, I put white in there and the black is less visible from the outside of the house. A tip about the base - it's easier to attach and detach if you press on the pieces to…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Periodicity

Solid, high quality, no compromises

I am very happy with my choice. Very versatile with two lids and multiple configurations. This case seems to be the most expensive of all my Pi 3 cases. It's very durable, well made, the parts fit together perfectly. After Oracle unveiled a 1024 Raspberry Pi cluster at Oracle Open World this year, I also appreciated the stacking and mounting options.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • A few details

I'm running some headless Pi servers and wanted something cheap. It meets and exceeds my requirements. They can be used individually (flat or with an extension that can hold a hat). Or they can be stacked on top of each other and come with a detachable, sliding mounting base that can be attached to a surface with screws. Besides, I didn't need it. As in many cases, the GPIO pins are exposed. But if you're using a hat, there's still room in the case, so everything is included in the case. It…
