Good case if you don't need video

Case looks good and fits well. The case has a fundamental disadvantage if you want to use a heatsink kit (the cutouts on the top level are not placed correctly) or if you want HDMI video. The case pushes the circuit board too far back for the mini-HDMI cable to reach. When you receive video, it is very picky.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • Damaged

Robust, clean, well made and inexpensive

I bought 3 of these items. All the pieces fit together well, no need to cut them with a knife. In addition, they slide easily into a DIN rail and stay in place.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Universal computer components

Choose this box for its capabilities. As I start experimenting with the Raspberry Pi, I want to be able to connect multiple boards and add peripherals to each board. This box meets my expectations - the middle parts are stackable and there are 2 different profile lids. It includes an extra mounting plate (which I haven't used yet). Bought the white trim. The finish is pretty good. It looks like an extension for my Xbox One. The pictures on the site clearly show what you are getting and the…

Pros
  • Can be attached to flat surfaces, DIN rails or other objects with cable ties
Cons
  • May cause injury

Nice case if you don't need video

Case looks good and fits together well. If you want to use a heatsink kit, the case has fundamental flaws. (The top level cutouts are not positioned correctly) Or you want video over HDMI. The case pushes the circuit board too far back for the mini-HDMI cable to reach. When you receive video, it is very picky.

Pros
  • Cases can be stacked on top of each other to form clusters of single board computers
Cons
  • Not everything fits

The best all-round case for Raspberry Pi, especially DIN rail

MaticBox is without a doubt the perfect concept for an RPi case as it is a versatile set of precisely fitting parts that You can choose and stack them according to your application. The feature I appreciate the most is the snap-on DIN rail mounting on the bottom panel. The DIN rail is the best way to build complex systems such as industrial control systems. For some reason there are several ways to easily connect the RPi to a DIN rail and MaticBox is the best option at the moment. There is a…

I have purchased 3 of these items . All parts fit together well without cutting with a knife. They also snapped easily into the DIN rail and stayed in place.

Pros
  • Comes with two covers - a flat cover for the single board computer only and an automation cover for extra space when housing expansion boards with large relays, terminals and connectors
Cons
