Great for my needs. Some say that clarity drops off a bit at the edges (which it does) but with a small readjustment of the viewfinder I didn't find this to be a problem for photographic purposes. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be and this gives me extra confidence in the clarity of what I'm seeing. This is a great LCD screen viewer in bright daylight which I need for long exposures through 10 or 16 stop ND filters when the live image is quite dark because I like that preview -composition filmed at very high ISO. Even cranking up the LCD brightness is often not enough to focus and see detail in bright sunlight. This product helps with that. I thought it was a far cry from the hoodman quality I own. I was positively surprised! Diopters have always been the biggest problem with cheap viewfinders, but this one worked great. Easily conforms to my eyes and my friend's eyes. Great for night and astrophotography which is why I bought it. An additional plus is the strap. Not only does it hold the viewfinder around your neck, but it also doubles as a support for attaching the viewfinder to the back of your camera over the live view screen!
