Cards have a hole in the end for storage on a plastic clip. The Uno Splash has a hole in the rim in the corner and it works fine. However, they end up with a hole in the middle. Mixing is definitely harder with this alignment. Add to that the slippery nature of plastic cards and they can be difficult to work with.

I really liked the cards. friends love them. Flip is our favorite version. Very smooth as others have mentioned but never had a problem playing. Annoying cleaning, they stick together and the clip is unusable. Get a big ring clip or something.
