Superb chef's knife

I wasn't very into cooking, but this pandemic has changed everything. It also made me realize how important a good knife is when cooking. I ordered this knife for its sleek, shiny look, but fell in love with its sharpness and efficiency. It doesn't matter whether you're cutting vegetables or meat, the knife is just great. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Five stars! for kitchen and dining room

I bought it for my friend who has been working in the kitchen most of his life. He loves it and says it's easy to use yet durable. Looks durable and beautiful. He likes that it's a one piece piece, no blade attached to a handle so the blade doesn't come loose from the handle. It slices through things effortlessly. I love it so much I'm thinking of buying more for gifts for family members this year.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Good oven and meat chef's knife

The all-metal construction of this knife makes it a safe choice when you need a chef's knife for very hot food with the risk of heat conduction. The robust construction ensures comfortable handling. I haven't managed to get the knife dirty or rusty in the three weeks I've been using it. The blade is slightly heavier and thicker than a normal chef's knife. This makes clear cuts easier, but requires more practice. It was sharp instantly and didn't need further sharpening or honing to work. The…

Cozy and reasonable price!

We have experience with the Matt Stone Hill brand and are pleased to say the least. This knife did not disappoint and I can say that it represents excellent value for money. It arrived well packaged and pre-sharpened. The materials used to build this knife appear to be of a higher quality and I love that they build their knives with a full shaft. This allows you to increase the length of the blade to the end of the handle. This creates a much stronger knife and less chance of the hood breaking.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great knife for the price!

I bought this knife for my mother who cooks a lot and needed more kitchen knives like a workhorse. She was a bit startled at first and told me she had cut herself before, but like almost any kitchen tool, she got used to it and is now using it comfortably and without injury. Another reason I have this is because my family and I visit my mom about once a week and sometimes cook for ourselves. I like to have a good knife as well as some serious cooking pots. I bring frying pans, but thought it…

Super sharp, easy to hold, easy to sanitize

I love to cook and am always looking for new and better products for my hobby. I have a variety of chef's knives from different manufacturers, but I'm always willing to try a different one to see if I find a new favorite. There are two things about this knife that set it apart from others I've owned: it's a 9-inch knife, making the cutting surface longer than most other knives, and the handle is all steel, not with one Wooden support or a handle, which makes it a bit difficult to clean the…

So far so good: Chef's Knife

I like this knife so far (about 2 weeks of use) but will update the review once I have some serious time and use behind it. I used to sell Cutco knives and I still have a few, and I also have a couple of Cuisinart SS knives similar to this one, so my experience is relative to what you know. Cutco knives, while pyramidal in many ways, are awesome (but VERY $$$). Mine have lasted for decades. The Cuisinart chef's knife I've owned has maintained a VERY sharp edge for years, which is amazing…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Alright

Let's get started, I often enjoy going back to the study of steel alloys for making kitchen knives. Design is important too, but steel is a real science. According to other netizens, a chef who wants a characteristic knife pays a high price to get a knife with good toughness and high hardness. This is to ensure that the knife keeps its blade longer and needs to be sharpened less often. A quality knife like this can cost hundreds of dollars, so it's great to be able to get something useful like…

Pros
  • Worth the money

  • Embarrassing
