Wonderful stove. It boils a certain amount of water faster than my 1250w microwave. The timer comes in handy when preparing packaged ramen, for example. And I can cook rice without it burning. The fan is a bit noisy and it hums a bit at high speeds.

Once this or any other induction hob comes with 1 degree accurate temperature control, I plan to buy several of these gifts. Best with pot base and temperature sensor. Right now the only one I can find is around $1500, outside of my price range. Thank you and a reply from the supplier would be very welcome.

So far I am impressed with this Max Burton 6515. Its output is 1800 W. I measured 1755 watts with my Kill A Watt Meter. It's close enough for me. I have received NO COMPENSATION for my review and will be the first to let you know if I have found a fault in any product. Areas that could be improved: 1) More precise control on both power and temperature settings would be nice. 2) The knobs are a bit finicky. I left a message with customer service to ask about it. They called me back within 1 hour

Given the size of this unit, I expected better performance. My main complaint is that even though the cooktop's glass top is large, the actual induction coil is still only about 5-6 inches in diameter. When cooking in stainless steel with an aluminum core this isn't as much of a problem as it conducts heat quickly across the entire cooking surface, but when cooking in cast iron cookware the center is much hotter than the edges, so more than one steak/filet is cooked it can suddenly become…
