Old New Stock Threaded Tube Fittings

Keep what should be old new stock. O-rings broke trying to install tube. Luckily I had some replacement parts from another project that fit so I didn't have to run to the hardware store.

Nuts tend to crack before they approach their firmness.

I like the system for the most part, except for the nut's tendency to break. The main problem is that you can't cut the nut individually, so you end up throwing the entire assembly away due to a single part failure.

Just fine, it works. Best in Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing

Overall quality is fine. Generally, my connections don't leak; I installed 5 Equal-T fittings. However, using Rapidair's instructions to tighten the nut 3/4 to 1 full turn after hand tightening caused my stationary wrench to puncture the fitting. They aren't cheap, $15-20 a piece. Looks like I have spares in stock in case the other one ever breaks down.

Cons
