Incredibly easy installation - fairly sturdy

Installs in less than 1 minute on both sides. They just snap. A rubber mallet will help punch slits in the pistons over the round mounting pins on the vehicle frame. super easy.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works on the tailgate of a 2008 GMC Envoy Denali

Husband swapped the old ones out for these in minutes. Now I can use the back door again! You'll never realize how heavy these doors are until your spacers work!

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Just what you need

My husband chose this brand to order from Revain. I helped him by raising the hatch on his Rainier while he set up the elevators. They were easy to install and do the job. We would buy them again if we found it necessary to get new ones again. Cheaper than going to a Buick car dealership.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good product - shocks, struts and suspension

This is a good product and easy to install. Removing the old ones is more difficult. Make sure you have a good support to hold the tailgate as it is heavy. I used a good heavy broom to hold it. As said, this is a good product and it is very strong once you put it on. It will soften a little after standing for a long time. I think if you put the butt on first is the best way, just my observation.

Pros
  • I hold my fists

Honestly surprisingly good for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

I'm very surprised how they work. First, they were incredibly easy to install, all you need are greasy plunger gloves and a small flat head screwdriver. They pop out easily and snap into place with a reliable clink. The only thing I recommend is having someone hold the sunroof for you, it literally took less than 3 minutes to install. Now the differences, my sunroof now opens by itself which is amazing and of course it takes more force to close it but if you have two hands it doesn't matterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weight

  • Some little things

My '02 Envoy is like new

So nice to have the back door on my 2002 Envoy working properly again. It's been so long I forgot how easy it was! Use 2 people to install them! I didn't and got into a dilemma. One note: the bracket on the "thick" side of the bar should fit snugly against the bar body. One of mine arrived loose and undetected and this resulted in the bracket detaching from the tailgate, the plastic on the brace being bent and the 'ball' on the tailgate coming off. I had to remove the plastic trim on theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New to my collection
