    Install 2011 C6 easily, click right in!

    I was afraid that this product would not fit my Corvette and for some strange reason when reading the reviews nobody mentions what year the Corvette was made. Revane said it wouldn't work, but I took a chance. They are a great replacement, I only had them one day but they were very easy to install and solved my problem. They are very strong but not bad, still easy to close but I know they will hold my 5/5 hood with no problem

    Save $ on purchase versus GM part

    2012 C6 Centennial Grand Sport Corvette: Installation is the same as removal. Just use a screwdriver to knock out the studs. Remember that if your current hood props are damaged or weak, to install the first good side with a bad side still on the car, you will need to manually lift the hood to open it COMPLETELY to install the new one.     Decent strut in shock absorbers, struts and suspension

    The hood struts were very easy to install and the instructions are good. There's no harm in watching YouTube though. The struts have more tension than the stock struts, but opening/closing the hood doesn't require much force. In addition, mfg. The branding is on one side of the strut, but you can rotate the strut to face the engine if you want it to look like stock. As one reviewer said, you can also place a towel under the brace where it connects to the hood in case a flathead screwdriver…
