MAXPOWER E-Torx Star Socket Set - 9-Piece 3/8-inch Set with Sizes E7-E20 Review

Bought this set to work with a Delco starter. The small E-7 head did not fit on the screw heads because the drive end of the socket was too large in diameter. Came back and ordered another set of smaller sockets with a 1/4" drive.

The seam must be very well made and the right dimensions to work with my MB. Couldn't even afford anything comparable at Craftsman dealers and the local dockside freight store doesn't even stock these guys. I am very happy with this purchase and love that they are organized in the handy carry case that they come in.

I know a lot of people write that they are very strong and durable. That's true, but the wall thickness is too thick. You often see this on cheap heads because they didn't use good metal or design. This means that they are not suitable for some areas that would be better. They're good, but they're not a high-quality instrument.

Must be purchased to replace struts on Mercedes. Worked well, only really needed one size but bought a set to have others in case I need to work harder. Arrived quickly, the case comes in handy for keeping them organized (although I might like the case that "snaps" together rather than screwing together. No complaints so far, it did the job I needed to get it closed complete).

I ordered both this Maxpower kit and the Uxcell kit because I wanted to see which one is better and I needed a spare in case I found one while disassembling the motor break. Maxpower came in a plastic holder with a lockable lid, while Uxcell came in a plastic bag. Both are similar in weight and looks, but the Uxcell has grip grooves that can be useful.
